By Car/Taxi: It takes around 3 to 4 hours. This is the fastest and most flexible travel option.

Main Road Trip Route

The Ajmer Pushkar Merta Nagaur Road route is the most preferred and easiest way to travel from Ajmer to Nagaur.

Travel from Ajmer to Pushkar, which is around 15 kms away, and it should take around 20 to 30 minutes only. From there, take NH 58, which is normally a good road, the one you will follow from Pushkar. Around 95 kms is traversed in this stage, which passes through the countryside. By Train –

For this tour, travelling by train is an excellent idea. From Ajmer to Nagaur, there are many express and passenger trains, which have well-developed railway stations. Typically, the train journey would take two to three hours.

By Bus –

Travelling by bus is a highly popular and affordable option. Many private and government-run RSRTC buses go on this route. Both cities have conveniently located and well-connected main bus stations. Nagaur Cattle Fair takes place in January or February. Booking accommodations and travel in advance is highly recommended.
